New Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Trailer | Sci-Fi Jubilee

He took her hands in his and smiled a little. "Ready?" Holding both her hands seemed like a good idea and he planned on stepping off the cement tunnel and let the Cloak guide them
down to the platform.

World between Worlds, after all.

"Yeah." As ready as anyone can be before traveling through different dimensions.

She would likely get better at it, but right now it's a hint nauseating.

He cast in the same spot as before cutting a portal through reality, into his New York, with less flowers and maybe less beautiful than she might like.

He didn't say this, nor did he want to. He'd have to show her what made this universe beautiful.

It takes her a moment after stepping through the portal to adjust her senses. But when she does she looks around.

"Well, this is different." Not necessarily in a bad way, though she does wonder why there isn't more green.

Strange smiles a little. "This is... my New York, well not mine just my universe..."
He felt awkward a bit, showing her around.

She surely noticed it wasn't as beautiful as hers.
"We can walk to the Sanctum from here, if you like."

He remembers to stop her from crossing on red.

"Your whole universe." She chuckled. She keeps herself close to him. The cars are on the ground.

"Walking sounds good. New York still manages to smell like hot garbage with all the plants, it's impressive." Her New York still has that distinctive smell, even with all the flowers trying to overpower it.

"Just up the street, couple of blocks. We'll stop cause it's red." He points to the red crosswalk sign, that flashes don't walk to indicate the directions.

She huffs a little noise. "Stop on red." She shakes her head, "granted I can see where you may be coming from on that one."

Red is often a no-go coloration in nature and all.

"I think maybe yours might be indicating traffic has stopped so it's safe to go. As someone wise once said to me, when it's the multiverse, nobody knows anything."

He watched her be in awe of everything around her and was more watching her than the light indicators.

"That's what they taught us back when we were kids." She is taking everything in, it's all absolutely fascinating.

"It's incredible. Thank you for bringing me."

"You're welcome." He's happy to show her after all. "There's some decent food on this street, shwarma, tuna melts, tacos, churros, ramen..."

He's familiar with most of the places around here.
There's no statue of him, and the sanctum entrance seems like a facade at first.

"No statue. Have you considered putting up one of yourself anyway." She teases, knowing full well this Stephen's ego could rival that of her Stephen's.

"In times past, yes. Seems ...odd to think that now." He wondered if she wanted anything and opened the door to the Sanctum. He was sure Wong was around here somewhere, but he was most likely in Kamar-Taj.

"I'll commission a miniature statue, to remind you to stay like this."

Once they step inside she pulls him close, draping her arms around him. She likes this Stephen a lot, it seems.

He waved his hand and the door closed. He pulled her close and kissed her, not bothering to say much else, because why? The quieter they were, the more unlikely they were to be noticed or disturbed.

He gave her a bit of a hug before he released her to explore.
"You might want to see the relic room, but I'm not sure if you can take anything with you."

That kiss is nice, and it warms her. When her Stephen died she had closed herself off from affection, focusing on work, now she was remembering how much she missed it.

"I wonder how they will react to me. Some of the relics we have can be touchy." All of the ones with some level of sentience were picky.

"Here too, definitely. Cloak doesn't mind you, and Cloak is rather fickle."

Stephen wondered though if Cloak knew how much Stephen liked the counterpart in this universe, and therefore was supportive.

"Cloak might be able to pick up your emotions regarding me." Some of the relics have surprising traits.

She reaches out to lightly pet the fabric.

Cloak definitely fluttered at being noticed, moving a little closer.

"Probably." Cloak definitely knew he liked Christine immensely.

He went to go up the stairs to the room of relics.

It is incredibly amusing to see Cloak react to her, they seem pleased by the attention.

"I'm very curious to see what relics are in both universes." Likely plenty of them.

"I would guess the Brazier of BomGalaith is similar," he referenced the weapon she'd used against the spirits - before she'd assured him to use them.

The relic room was definitely full of rather interesting objects.

"The Brazier is very useful." She nods. She had been greatful she knew how to use it.

"Before he died, my Stephen said he was going to start training me, that I needed at least some basic protection."

"What else do you feel you need to learn, considering - there's no Illuminati on your world? There's Mordo but I doubt he'll be capable of training. He was barely patient with me when I was a novice."

"I want to make a portal. They look so convenient." Which is probably the initial point of them.

She is already looking at some of the relic cases.

"He thought it might be important for me to be able to fight, with the whole multiverse situation."

Stephen slipped off his sling ring. "Here. Try it." He handed it over like it wasn't a meaningful gesture for anyone to hand over their sling ring and that it was an extension of trust.

He wondered about fighting. About her fighting style, she probably just wanted to flee so she didn't have to kill anyone.
